The Aum (Om) symbol is found in many belief systems.  It is a sacred one-syllable mantra, known as the sound of the universe; the Word of God.  The symbol represents the sound in its visual form. It is known to activate and energize the chakras in order to purify and balance the mind and body.  When broadcast to the universe it brings harmony and peace.
